GeForce II crashes in Quake3

Tried To GeForceII cards in two dual cpu systems: A dual celery NT box, and a dual P3 coppermine system. Using the 3.84, and 5.1x drivers, the card continues to lock up 30seconds into the game.
My older GeForce DDR works fine in with smp or not.

Probably CPU oder GF2 running out of
specifications?

i had this problem with my geforce DDR, it turned out my powersupply wasn't supplying enough power to the card. I bought a new one and my problems have disappeared.
