Don't waste your time, even if you get the game to work it is buggy as hell and the graphics are poor.Set up your system to dual boot and run the game in win 98.

That would be great except I want nothing to do with Windows 98. I nuked it and don't intend to put it back on my computer. Does anyone know if this is an error on the autopatcher site or a problem with win2k final realease? Would there be a wy to update the game manually if I got the files from somebody who already updated the game and got it working. Thanks.

I got the newest patch off www.earacing.com and now when I try to run the game, even though the cd is in the drive, it says to please insert the correct CD-ROM. Part of the prob may be that its a burned copy, but I'm not sure.

I don't think its going to help, but you can get the manually install patch at www.3dfiles.com. I tried it- doesn't help.
