FF8 Freezing up on tutorials

Hey has anyone had any problems with FF8 Retail freezing up when you get to a part where they run a tutorial to explain stuff? It freezes my keyboard and I have to press my reboot button. I'm not sure if this is Win2k or FF8's fault... probably FF8.

Nope I have had no problems with it

Make sure you get updated drivers. With the 3.75 it runs VERY well and the battles look really good

Exactly the same, but under Win98. I'm trying installing w2k to manage to play the game, but I can't choose 3d hardware acceleration, even with the latest nvidia detonators (3.75).
I've got a TNT2 M64, and you ?

Sorry, I was wrong : I wasn't using 3.75 drivers (I thought they were, but I chose the wrong directory when installing...).
AND NOW IT WORKS !!
Well, played about 30 min without crashing, which I had never managed before.
Hope it'll last...
