I am a student researcher and am beginning with familiarizing myself with Linux and more specifically RTLinux.

I have 2 requests
1) Could you tell me any useful resources (preferably books) that deal with Linux administration in great detail (I am going to have to work with the scheduler)
2) Has anyone had any experience trying to load RTLinux/Free onto RedHat 9.0. If so, what problems arose during the install/use of RTLinux in this context if any, and what did you do to resolve these problems.

I would appreciate any help I could get.
