alternatively, in UT you can enable/disable directinput in the menu - i did this and no effect

On some games (those using DirectInput I guess) the keys sometimes lock, therefore making impossible to play the game correctly.
Ex: Pro Pinball fantastic journey
Rally championship 2000.
On RC2000, the sound is not working well either. Seems that at times it cycles on the same audio buffer block (same engine REV) and suddenly goes faster to catch up the delay.
My system :
RC3 2183
PIII500, TNT2, 256 RAM
SBLive with plain MS drivers

Well, Good news!
I installed 2195, and lo and behold my key-sticking problems went away with Quake 3. I used DXDiag, and checked the DLLs, but they were still identical to 7.0. Whatever was causing the problem wasn't DX7.
I am still not sure if it works flawlessly, my "MOUSEWHEELUP" and "MOUSEWHEELDOWN" are still intermitent, but all other functions seem okay.
I played for roughly 4 hours, and had no sticking.

I had the same problem after upgrading to RC3, and the problem disapeared after upgrading to 2194. Alien versur Predator still has the problem though.
Last night i installed a new graphics card. The result in behavior: when i fastforward in Windows media player it crashed, and shutdowns now take 5 minutes.. pfff. Good thing they don't make cars or spaceshuttles.
