Asus P5GL-TMX/S Motherboard problem

Hie Guys

 

l have an asus p5gl-tmx/s motherboard on my computer. the problem started wen the computer was rebooting itself repeatedly, so l stripped it componenet by component and rebuilt it again and formatted the hard drive on another computer. The rebooting stopped,but now the problem is that wen l start it nothing happens. The monitor, keyboard and mouse are not responding, l want to install a new OS...PLEASE HELP GUYS

PS: Can anyone tell mi where to get the user manual for the Asus P5GL-TMX/S motherboard, l hev tried everywhere. Thanx again

So you are getting a blank screen? Is your computer beeping?

 

PS: Can anyone tell mi where to get the user manual for the Asus P5GL-TMX/S motherboard, l hev tried everywhere. Thanx again

I can't find this motherboard on the ASUS website but a P5GL-MX:

No my computer is not bleeping, even if l remove the memory there are no bleeps, it cannot turn on the monitor coz the signal button for the monitor is blinking meaning it is not getting any signal.

thanx for the MX l already hev that one and its not very helpfull

You do have a case speaker hooked to the motherboard from the case?

 

Are you using the onboard graphics or an add on graphics card?

 

It might be helpful if you post the specific components that you have installed. Make and model of the processor, memory, power supply...

 

When you turn on the system, does the processor fan turn on?

 

Also, if you build the system yourself recently, are you sure that there are no shorts between the motherboard and the case - that you have insulators on the screws attaching the motherboard to the case.

 

I just had my step fathers system experience the same issues. Unfortunately, in his case, the motherboard was gone.
