W2k RC2, Voodoo3, Quake2

After clean RC2-2128 install, I installed Quake2 and all the patches, but it looks like crap! I select 3dFx under video option and it bombs back to "software". This really sucks.

I downloaded & tried to install the latest driver from 3dFx, but it wouldn't install. I am currently using the default W2k Voodoo3 drivers. What can be the problem?

Thanks, Seldzar.....yes.....you da man! Q2 is back to normal. W2k reported the 3dFx driver as being "older", but who cares.

I see a lot about Q3, where can I download it?
