I can not for the life of me get D3D to work in Win2000 RC1.
I have OpenGL working but no D3D, I have all the AOpen drivers and the drivers for W2K posted on this site. but they dont work.
I have also checked the Reg. and there are no entries for D3D.
Is there something i am doing wrong????

Any help will help.

Build 2099. I have also tried it on build 2072, but again couldn't get DX working properly...I have a DxDiag log available if anybody wants to see it.

Many thanks, Mark.

The problem is MS disable in builder higher then 2072 so here how you fix
that hehe.
Run c:\winnt\regedit.exe Search for CapabilityOverrid del the key reboot &
now you should have D3D.
You must be use the stock windows2000 Voodoo3 drivers

Where exactly does the CapabilityOverrid registry entry exist? I tried searching for it and could not find it. I tried partial matches on overrid and capabiliity but to no avail. I also can not get D3D to work on my 2099 build. I've tried every driver known to man. I can get opengl to work easily but D3D is a nightmare.

I'm on a STB Velocity 4400 TNT card. I've tried native and all the generic drivers available.
