janfebmar 0 Posted April 5, 2010 Hi So, here I am listening and watching my WD raptor disk failing slowly, day after day. I figured its time to jump on the SSD train and buy myself an SSD disk. Anyone knows whats best of these two options : 1. 2* 40Gb X25-V in Raid 0 2. 1* 80Gb X25-M They cost about the same, but with option 1 do you get the same or better speed as the faster X25-M drive? *EDIT* after reading this : http://anandtech.com/show/3618/intel-x25v-in-raid0-faster-than-x25m-g2-for-250 I decided to go for a Raid 0 X25-V.
