Okay, this is at people who have a problem and rattle that off and then expect a fix w/o leaving their hardware specs.

HOW HARD IS IT TO LIST THE DAMN SPECS?!!!!!

But at the same time, keep the list reasonable. Some hardware is not relevant for some problems. I don't like seeing a 40 line list of all the stuff someone has in their pc for a problem that involves 2 things.

Also, my request is that the specs NOT be lsited as a signature line. I read the sig line once, maybe, and after that I don't read it. If you add or change something in your specs and it is listed as a sig, say so so that it can be noted. (For example, using NTFS on a drive but not having it listed in the first message but then adding it later)

Just my 2 cents worth of nothing.

I think he's running WinME. He was claiming it "Kicked A$$" or something...

I think the "Whiny Complaint" problem is caused by a corrupt .dll in Windows ME. Are you running a VIA chipset? If so, upgrade to the newest 4-in-1 and see if that fixes it.

*smack face* No,no,no,no! This post is about people who have some hardware problem and will give the problem but not the necessary specs, so then some one has to ask for the specs so the problem can be diagnosed.

And no, Im not running ME on this machine, it is on my dual boot, and I really dont remember why Im using it in the first place, but oh well.
Ive had no problems with VIA chipsets, but apparently Im either lucky or really, really damn ignorant. ;(

Upgrading to Brain Frank SP1 will correct a lot of your speed issues. And try defragging your hard drive. wink

I'd suggest ZoneAlarm for blocking mockers and taunters.

*I'm gonna run this into the ground. Just wait and see. ;)*
