monitor wont turn on//advanced inquiries only

replaced mb in my Emchine with the closest thing i could possibly find to factory. switched over processor and it powers up but will not turn off with power button. and will not show anything on monitor. checked cables has brand new nvidia card. and the monitor works perfect on my other cpus ny help out there? maybe a wiring diagramfor my coversion??? its an mp61pm-am

its a gateway brand motherboard.system vista amd athlon x24400 nvidia geforce 6150se, 320g sata style hd 3g ddr2 rm
