ok i looked on http://commerce.www.ibm.com/cgi-bin/ncom...amp;x=3&y=7
(which is ibm's site)
there 30 gig 75 gxp series ATA 100 7200 rpm HD is $175 with 30 day money back guarantee and a 3 year warrarty. I seen the same HD on http://www.ccusaonline.com/Merchant2/mer...tegory_Code=hdr
for $139
But does it come with a 3 year warranty and 30 day money back guarantee or what ?
btw is there any cheaper prices for the same one and it still comes with the 3 year warranty and 30 day money back guarantee maybe if this one doesnt

Not sure about your question, but I know I saw the 45GB Deskstar at buy.com for about $150, with the three year warranty.

As far as I'm aware all IBM drives, including OEM units have a 3 year warranty.
I think most vendors offer you the 30-day money back option, covers for DOA's etc.
After those 30 days your first line of contact will be with IBM direct.
IBM are one of the only companies who do actually offer direct support on their OEM products - just yet another reason why IBM drives are the ones to own.

So far the best warranty replacemt I had were with Maxtor. They have 3 days replacement guaranty and 3 years no questions ask waranty. So if you buy a used HD or lose you receipt they will still honor the warranty.
