Rambus is suing memory manufacturers Hyundai, Infineon, and Crucial becuase they wont pay royalties to them. Rambus claims that theyve patented certain technologies in SDRAM and DDR memory processes. If they win, we're gonna be paying more for RAM. Im guessing that since everyone really doesnt want RDRAM-because it serves no use, other than to jack up PC prices-Rambus just want to get our money anyhow. Why else would theyve waited this long if the technology was theres in the first place?
