In win 98 I used winipconfig in order to find my ip. In win2k, this program doesn't seem to exist. Anyone know how to find my ip in win2k? thanks in advance.

Go to the "Command Prompt", usually found under "accessories" in the start->program.
There you type: "ipconfig /all" , without the ".
There you have it, and a few other things.

Even easier. Double click on the modem lights and click on details. Bam. There you go.

Modemlights...well ok.
But I dont have a modem
Im on a lan so I dont need it...
And then the easiest thing must be to use ipconfig /all in a commandprompt.

If you would like to mess around with the Command Prompt in NT5. Edit the Config.NT or the Autoexec.nt files in the \winnt\system32 directory.
