Summary: "Nouveau is a free software project that came about to develop
a fully open-source graphics driver for all graphics hardware that would
provide 2D, 3D, and video acceleration support. This project was started
a few years ago, but as of this morning, this work will finally be
entering the mainline Linux kernel to provide open-source NVIDIA
graphics support for everyone."
