System restore problem

Two days ago, I had a problem with the restore system function in Windows XP, cause It went to a blank screen.

Now I have an even worse (?) problem since when I try to start the restore system function, nothing happens, no window opens.

No matter if I enter via Safe Mode or standard mode, it doesnt start. I also try running MSCONFIG and there selecting "Run System Restore" and same problem.

What can I do?
