I am running xp sp2 and contracted the heur virus. I tried repairing xp from original CD in the install menu but not all required files are available, when I skip these files there are networking and sound problems. I have moved off all data I want to preserve onto another partiton (E). If I am to do a complete install on C I would like to ensure it is completely clean first. How do I do this without loosing partiton info and data on D & E?

Perhaps there is a better way.

Any help or advice appreciated.
