Send File in Icq

At my home, i have two PC, Redhat 9 and XP

The linux acts as an router and XP is connected to linux

Although my XP can surf the internet, i cannot send file in icq.

One of my friends tells me that he solves this problem by setting up vpn.
But I cannot.

I'm not sure whether it is the problem of vpn or firewall scripts?

Can anyone tell me a complete solution? Thx

Greetings,

First of all , try to give a clear background,

Be more specific , you cant send file(s) through icq (( icq (win) | (gaim/licq/kopete (linux) )))

() If you cant send from win it could be the firewall , for linux also.No clue,just give more information

Plus from where from / to ... ? win <-> linux or in general ?
