I have a Win2000Pro/SP1 setup using Asus P3C + Piii/933 + 256ECC RDRAM + Matrox MGA400max +Adaptec 29160 + SBLive Platinum / Drive etc

After installing Soundblaster liveware 3.0 (drivers only) and Matrox lates drivers my computer cannot wake up after standby mode. Before the above driver updates (default windows sblive drivers, old mga drivers) power management worked ok but now when computer falls in standby then needs a reset.

Any comments ?

There's nothing you can do. If the drivers for hardware don't correctly support standby then you're screwed. The only thing you can do is disable standby support.

JediBaron, you're right, that's what i've done. I disabled standby power mode. I'm afraid that drivers drive me nuts smile

Asus P3v4x mobo
G400 DH Max
SB Live
2940AU scsi

I use the Revision 5.10.012 video drivers dated 5/24. I've tried them all and like these the best. You've probably heard somebody tell you to check your mobo bios for an upgrade. Try that if you haven't.

J_Pro,
I've already updated my Bios as well as my mga400 bios and i have the latest firmware and software drivers. I found that the problem starts when i install LIVEware 3.0 (drivers only version). Using the win2000 basic sb live drivers everything on power management works ok.
