In the Radeon HD 4890, AMD's new GPU silicon resets the single-chip performance plateau at about 250 bucks. Nvidia's GeForce GTX 275 has shown up abruptly, as well, determined to crash the party. Will the neighbors call the cops before things get out of hand?
