system is stucked with blue screen

The Session Manager Initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000003a (0x00000000 0x00000000). The system has been shut down."

even the system is stucked not changing the blue screen and even i tried to install the new xp even though it is not done.please help me how to resolve this problem.my laptop is latitude d600.

What is your guess as to the reason for the system being stuck?

Please try "Safe mode"
by pressing reset when its booting
you will see a menu it wont start correctly u can choose safe mode

Check your IDE cables. This post (http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-526663.php) showed that one responder found it to be a faulty IDE cable.
I swear, troubleshooting is a science: the best discoveries are always on accident...
