Hi everyone,

It's been a fair few months since we first took a look at the Radeon HD 4670, courtesy of Sapphire's reference-based offering. Now, this well-known AIB are back with a new spin on this mid-range offering, strapping 512MB of faster GDDR4 memory to the board as well as kitting it out with what promises to be a bigger, quieter cooling solution. Are these changes enough to impress? We take a look.

"As our introduction blurb made clear, the two major changes to this particular board are the use of a custom cooling solution, while from a performance perspective the removal of GDDR3 memory to be replaced with 512MB of GDDR4 also sees a 100MHz clock speed increasing, giving this board RAM modules clocked at 1100MHz against the 1000MHz parts on a reference board."
