Digital output on fortissimo 2 doesn't work....??

hi,

i got an mandrake 9.0 and the sound card hercules fortissimo 2.

The modules ALSA is installed (integrated with mdk 9.0) but the digital output doesn't work ....

Somebody could help me about this ???

Seems I found your answer. It would appear according to this link the digital out is automatically muted. All you should need to do is go into the alsa mixer and unmute it. Hopefully that gets you straightened out.
