Hi, I have FF8 game discs for the PC, and for the most part they work fine. But occasionally the game just will not run when I load my saved game - the music will skip and I'll just get a black screen.

I realise this is probably due to the age of the discs but is there any way I can fix this? I'm on the last disc! I need to finishhhhh ;_;

(oh and I have patched it, so it's not that)
