Help! I have been looking all over the net just to get a patch or solution to fix this damn problem!

I know about this great TWOTW Conpanion, but i don't wanna be paying money for when i can edit the research and other stuff of the game with regedit, I wondered if anyone could help me with my problem! The Music MAKES THE GAME! It can get very boring fighting martians or humans, i need help, i also know other people still are having audio problems with the game! So if anyone could help me much would be appesatied!

P.S sorry for the spelling mistakes!
