How to get your Visioneer 5300USB Scanner to work with W2K

Install the Primax Colorado 19200 USB scanner
drivers. You can find them on www.win2kworld.com listed under drivers.
Use the apcompat.exe program on the Win2000 CD & install the Paperport Program from the CD that came with your scanner. This will also install the Win98 drivers allowing full
functionality of the 'One Touch' buttons on the front. You now have a scanner that works perfectly in Win2000 that Visioneer refuses to support for this excellent OS.
