Having covered thermal compound from a few different companies over the past year or so, today we take a look at an offering from a relatively new kid on the block. Gelid Solutions is a Hong Kong-based company (with Swiss management) looking to enter the world of PC cooling products, from system fans through to their first product and the subject of today's review, their GC-1 thermal compound offering. We take a look to see how it performs.

"Each tube of GC-1 thermal compound contains 5 grams of paste in a pretty standard tube. As we just mentioned (and as a rather nice addition to the package), an applicator for the compound is also provided to help spread it over whatever surface you are applying it to.

Speaking of applying this thermal compound, it really couldn't be easier - The paste itself is just the right consistency to make applying the correct amount simple, and spreading it via the included applicator ensures that being left with a thin and even layer of thermal compound is simplicity itself. With this in mind, this GC-1 thermal compound is easily one of the best we've tested as far as actual application of the paste goes."
