Last year a class-action lawsuit was filed against NVIDIA and AMD/ATI for price fixing on GPUs. This suit has been followed by most tech media pretty closely as it could have huge implications on both companies' financial status. Today we got some interesting information about the lawsuit that basic boils down to the grand jury investigating the issue found no evidence of price fixing and told the judge in the class-action this finding. Now the the suit will apparently ONLY apply to graphics cards bought on ATI.com thus freeing NVIDIA from potential penalties and largely clearly AMD/ATI as well.
