i just bought this game. ive been playing this for a couple years but lost it awhile ago. anyways. whenever i try to install it, it immediatly says "starcraft has encountered a problem and needs to close."
ive tried copying the game into a new file but that wont work. im desperate for help please anyone!

Maybe you can try reinstalling your windows and starcraft :
My friends and I have been getting that error as well. Occasionally starcraft would also crash, and the PC would go to a mysterious black screen.

You should try installing the patches that Blizzard released: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.x...p;pageNumber=1. They help out with multiple problems. In addition, their support site tends to be decent.
