I loved dungeon Keeper as a child so I went out & bought a new cd for it.

Only problem is... I can't even instal the game.

Step by Step of what usually happens:

1. I insert disk.
2. I Click allow to Setup.exe.
3. Setup.exe starts.
4. The setup stops at 77%.
4,1.
5. I have to remove the disk to get it to go away as even ending the process doesn't get rid of it....

Any help appreciated.

Well I've never had trouble installing DK in Vista so it's not a Vista issue most likely.


I believe Installshield has an article on what to do when installers freezes like above but I don't have a link handy.

The usual recommendations are to delete all of the files in your TEMP folder.

Also make sure your running setup as an administrator.

Also try copying all of the files on the CD to your hard drive and start the install from there.
