While it may not be the newest CPU cooler on the market, Hardware Canucks gives you a glimpse into how the Thermaltake Big Typhoon performs with some of today's hotter-running dual and quad core processors.

When this big guy was first release back in 2005 it made quite the splash (pardon the pun) as it was truly a step forward in the world of air cooling technology.  Back then, not only was it purported to give amazingly low temperatures to both the CPU and the motherboard but do it at nearly inaudible noise levels.
