Visioneer Paperport and XP

Hello, I just joined and I'm hoping someone can help me. I have an older scanner, Visioneer Paperport 6100B LPT port. I upgraded to xp a few months ago and the driver for the scanner is not compatible with it. The company does not have any driver updates for this product. Does anyone know how to make this work? I really like the scanner and I don't want to buy a new one just because Visioneer is too lazy to update their product.
