I bought new G9 Logitech mouse, plugged to usb (mouse is plug&play) and i can use right and left buttons, scroll too but i cant move my cursor. Please help me, i uninstalled old software and installed new, but software (SetPoint) only give more options, not needed to use normal functions.
What can i do?

Another thing to make a note of when using an optical mouse is that your mouse pad should not have contrasting colors on it. The large difference in colors will cause the mouse coursor to jump around like crazy, which is wicked annoying.
As far as replacing your mouse, call up Logitech and explain to them your problem. It could be something as simple as a safety sticker still covering the optical light. If it cannot be solved, they should be able to replace it for you at no charge, considering it's brand new and probably a manufacturing issue.
