i realise there are alot of these about and iv looked at other but i still cant seem to get carmageddon 2 to work on XP i just get the same old "sorry, not supported on windows nt" ... iv tried partitioning my hard drive to change the formatt but no free trials will do it ( and cant buy one), the patch dosnt work ( all iv done is download it and transfer it into my carma 2 file) and i cant find a glide emulator ... if anyone can help me then much will be apreciated.

If you are looking for a quick-fix, I'd suggest trying to use a virtual machine (VM). Microsoft has a free download of the application here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/virtualpc/default.mspx.

VMs are good for running applications that cannot be run on newer OSs. Once you installed the VM, install Windows 98 on it so that you can run the game. It will take some time getting used to how to configure Virtual PC 2007, so be prepared for that. Also, it would be good to mention that I have never personally used a VM for running gaming apps; I've only used them for server test environments.
