I have a new Window XP Home desktop. I installed Sim3000 and played this game successfully. But while playing, it switched me to original regular desktop page and all game is gone. It happens every 30 minutes of playing. No sign, no warning pop up, no save files, the whole city is gone. I uninstalled and reinstalled this game. The problem is still the same.
I have no problem installed this game and played this game in my laptop though.
Please advise. Thank you.

Are there any events in your event viewer? When you say "original desktop page," what exactly are you referring to? Also, make sure that all of your devices are updated to the latest of their drivers (this goes for you OS as well; do you have SP2?).
