I have a sager laptop; it was loaded w/xp and worked fine. Recently after rebooting it goes through setup/ram/etc....then goes straight to a screen that prompts me to "put in boot disc and press any key"....
I put in my winxp disk and rebooted and it goes through the normal startup; ram/etc....then it says "checking boot disk: "NO EMULATION BOOTING"....then goes to a black screen and says "checking system config"..that last for a few seconds and then blank screen and the cd rom stops running. I have tried over and over and keep getting the same thing. I am pretty computer literate and normally know how to troubleshoot but this "No EMULATION BOOTING" has stomped me.

Anyone know how to fix or have any ideas????????
