Help! Logitech head set

Umm Hey, ive just joined this forum and am having trouble with a Logitech head set... havent got much of a clue about what to do though:S ive plugged it in, yet the computer doesnt..recognize or accept it.. im confused! please help,

What model headset is it and what exact operating system do you have?

Not to be a smart ass but is the plug for the headset plugged into the correct hole?

If it's a standard analog mic/headset combo, then make sure that the mic input is not muted and turned up a bit so the input signal is louder.

Also, are you using the onboard sound or a third-party sound card ?!?

If you are using the onboard sound and the front-panel jacks then they should be connected properly to the motherboard, but not always

OK, I just looked and THIS MODEL headset is a USB type. So it's possible that the drivers for it need to be tweaked. However I would go to their website and make sure you have the latest device drivers for it installed on your machine
