Many years ago I played a game called, Oubliette. Presently, I have tried to get the game to run on my win 2000 or win xp machines but have had no luck. The message that I keep getting after the program bombs has something to do with no core, I think is what it says. Does anyone here have any experience with Oubliette or with this type of problem? I would like to know how to get this fixed so that I can re-live the good-old times.

There are lots of programs with the name 'Oubliette', who made it, when was it made, what type of game is it? Google brings up lots of stuff for oubliette so I'm stuck where to begin.
