logitech quickcam messenger webcam problem

I've been having a problem with my webcam. Whenever I use the logitech software or msn messenger to use the video/picture function, the image always fuzzy. (Looks like tv static or sumthing). I tried using other webcams but i get the same problem, any suggestions??
