I am currently justifying my reason for chosing to implement a client server network for a system that has 16 computers where each one is running windows XP AND office XP; the hard drives are formatted with NTFS. I was wondering whether or not there is any limitations with using peer to peer networks when NTFS is concerned?? I know that NTFS is not compatable with other operating systems when they are on the same computer...a partition needs to use a FAT file system for the computer to deal with more than one O.S.
Please forward anything you may know on this subject...
thank you! karlie

None what so ever. Over a network the filesystem is irrelevant, as you will be using shares using SMB or CIFS to access files.
