Yahoo instant messenger error message

In Yahoo Instant Messenger when I receive an video cam image from anyone I'm online with I receive the following error message
ERROR LINE 2 CHAR 7 INVALID.
It then locks and messenger disappears.
I have uninstalled and installed yahoo messenger with no results.
What is wrong, Am I missing something.
If anyone can give me an answer to this It will be deeply appreciated.
I sent an e-mail message toYahoo 2 weeks ago and I received no answer.
