i have the sims 2 discs, but with one problem. disc 1 is cracked and i can't install it. the rest of discs are just fine. i tried to copy the files to my computer and install it that way, but it didn't work. is there any way i can get the files to install it? the game is installed on another computer we have. can i get the files from there? or is there somewhere i can download the files from? i don't want to go out and buy the whole game when i need just one disc. plus i have sims university so i wouldn't use the files except to install the game.

Take the discs back to the shop you got it from and ask for a replacement.

You may be able to get the iso or all the files off the disk with IsoBuster. Then burn another disk with Nero or some other burning software.
