sims 2 activex 9.0c problem(PLEASE HELP)

Im new to this site and i see that ppl on here know alot more than i do seeing as im very comp illiterate i wanted to noe if ne one could help me i dowloaded sims 2 succesfully but now it keeps on tellin me this:"Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate." ive tried to download activex from mircosoft but it seems i hav an ungenuine copy of microsoft soooo...im stuck n unable to play sims is there any solutions out there...... frown

Sorry, but we do not support piracy on this website. Please buy legit copies of both Windows XP and Sims 2 before asking for help.
