I have just bought a new graphics card to replace my old 32MB one. It is a GeForce MX 4000 128MB and when i put it in then plug my monitor into it, it boots up but some windows genuine thing comes up and my resolution looks all wierd. It gives me 2 choices get genuine or resolve later, i have tried both and it goes to my desktop (with it still looking all weird) and it starts to lad up then it crashes the whole computer and it goes to a black screen. My friend fixed my computer at one time but i think i still have a genuine copy of windows.

Sorry for the bad typing i have a broken arm.

Thanks for all your guys' help ahead of time.

Try booting into safe mode and uninstall the drivers of the old card.

If it doesn't work you can always go to the maker of your computer and download the graphic drivers there for the old video.
