I have a SATA 300G HD that I had partitioned into 5 50G and a 38G. I was stupid enough to DL and install something off P2P without a virus check. It messed up the partition Tables (I think) The drive will no longer boot and when I try reinstalling XP it offers a 138G (the last 3 partitions) raw unpartitioned space to install on. At one point it booted off the drive with the first 3 50G partitions availabe. I ran Partition Doctor Demo on it and recovered some files, but the demo will not save the repaired partition info, and I don't have the money to buy it. is there any other way to fix this problem?

1) Try putting the harddrive as slave to other computer if you can and then try to get all important files from it.
2) Get knoppix (or some other live linux) and burn all important files from it. Then reformat the harddrive.
