Hi

I recently obtained red alert1 (the best game ever!)
Im using a Windows XP Professional Version 5.1; Service Pack 2.

I've visited this site earlier and read previous posts that guides me through the installation process of RA95 edition on windows xp.

Everything turned out to be fine. The installation, sound, video, but with ONE annoying problem.

I can't click with my mouse. (I can move it around though)
It's not that i can't clicky TOTALLY.
Alright, let me explain

For example, the menu screen of the game.

I can't click onto any options with my mouse (such as "Start new game", "load game")

So I use my keyboard to scroll, press "enter" to start a new game

I press enter enter, and start an allied mission

Okay so here's another weird part

I can click individual units, BUT I can't DRAG.

For example,
I can click on to Tanya, and click onto a terrain to make her move there. BUT I can't deselect her (you know, click some space on the terrain to deselect).

I also can't click onto Options locaed at the top left.
I can't build structures.

All I can do with my mouse is move it around, click individual units and move them around.

Has anyone encountered this problem?
My best guess is that RA95 requires a PS2 mouse instead of a USB mouse. But I haven't heard anyone else having such problem.

After trying to get this thing working, I've given up, and now Im here.

so anybody PLEASE, if you know the solution to this problem, help me out. Thanks

P.S: Don't tell me to play on dos mode, coz I've tried that =p

OH and also, I have two computers (both of which are windows xp version 5.1; service pack 2). BOTH of the computers have the same problem. So what da heck is it?
