My previous setup was Ubuntu Linux and Windows 2k.. yestarday I made a "new" install of win xp because I got sick of the plain 2k look. But it didn't erase the partition? I tried installing again, same thing, win2k is still there (with windows xp on another partition of course). So now how do I get rid of either both of them so I can install xp again, or just 2k?

If you do not have anything important data in your partitions, you can delete them during XP setup.
