can anyone tell me how to set it so my character runs and dosent walk all the time, i searched on forums and found nothing on this and im to new to this to know what to do or how to fix it plz plz plz help me.

try setting your buttons up in the menu....then hold down that button....if that doesn't work....just be glad your game works...unlike mine

There is an "always run" patch for the game (you hold cancel to walk instead), but I never got it to work. I just hold the cancel button (zero key on numpad by default) while pushing direction to run everywhere basically.
Still though, You really should use the good fan-made patches for the game. Even Eidos site links to one of the fan-made patches. There is even improved models for the game (!).
