Yeah...
Whenever I run the sutoplay and press the install button, the window closes and the program does nothing, as if I never clicked. I already tried compying and pasting the install.exe file onto the desktop and doing all that compatability stuff, but that didn't work....
Pleas, someone help. I'm very eager to play this game!!!

You need to supply some important information. If you know the motherboard you are using and at least the kind of processor and its speed, the amount of RAM you have, the video card you are using, and the operating system 98, ME, 2K or XP.

Look at this http://www.ntcompatible.com/Installing_FF7_for_Win95_on_XP_t33509.html
Notice that he refers to running the setup.exe under the Win95 compatibility.
Once you have it installed, know that there are a couple of patches like the chacobo patch and 1.4 that you may need to run it with added stability.

I copied and pasted the setup.exe from the disc to my desktop, clicked on prefernces, changed the compatability to Windows '95, clicked on the setup.exe, clicked install, and the autoplay closed.
I also tried the same with the install.exe, but that didn't work...
I'm sad...

Have you tried to use Windows Explorer and find setup.exe on your CD drive, right click on the file, choose Properties, then click on the Compatibility tab, put a check mark in the box and choose Windows 95, then OK?
