cant install directx9

cant install directx9. it says doesnt trust cabinet file necessary for installation. i need some help

Get this version of DX9, then install from your HDD, forget the web-install, it's crapola. You're also best to get SP1 and SP2 downloadables, and burn them to a CD. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...;displaylang=en

Load Service.msc and look for 'Cryptographics Services', make sure it is set to Automatic and is started.
